From the CEO of MND Australia

The 2026 National MND Conference marks an important moment for the Australian MND community. For the first time, we are bringing together the Australian MND Research and Care Conferences into one national gathering, creating a unique opportunity to connect the full spectrum of expertise, experience and leadership working to improve outcomes for people living with motor neurone disease.

Over the three days in Adelaide, we will welcome people with lived experience, researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, service providers, advocates, and policymakers from across the country. By uniting these diverse voices, the conference aims to strengthen collaboration, share the latest research and care innovations, and inspire new ideas that move us closer to a world without MND.

Hosted at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the conference will feature keynote presentations, abstract sessions, workshops and networking opportunities designed to foster meaningful dialogue and partnership across the sector.

On behalf of MND Australia, I warmly invite you to join us for this landmark national event as we work together to advance research, improve care and support the Australian MND community.
